This is where you come when you want to bring dreams to life!

The Leather and Feathers BC workshop is located in Surrey, British Columbia (Canada).  I make custom leather goods based on each customers needs and desires.  I have many years of experience working with leather, sewing and creating beautiful items.  I am now branching out to include not just day to day items and clothing but also fetish items such as harnesses, chain bras, bracers/cuffs etc.

 

 I also create full or partial costumes, & accessories that you can't just find in any store.  Are you wanting a special costume for the latest comicon, cosplay event?  Want to have an authentic dress for the renaissance fair?  Maybe you want to have very specialized bride and groom outfits for a theme wedding.  

 

My talent lies with the ability to replicate almost anything I can see, which allows me to work from something as simple as a good quality photograph.  I have worked from many photos, but also things like action figures have become useful tools for capturing the tiny details that make a costume authentic.  If you can provide me with a good photo of what you want and a short meeting if necessary for measurements I can provide you with an almost exact duplicate

 

I work with a variety of materials including various types of fabric, leather, foam, metals, clays etc.  I go into each project with an open mind and try to pick materials based on what will give the best, most accurate results and what the customer requires.  

 

I am constantly learning new methods of using materials to get different results and have developed some of my favorite techniques purely by accident!  I also try wherever possible, to reuse items such as belts etc to minimize my evironmental footprint.
